Critical Conversations #5:
The Experience of Independent School Students

You Know My Name, but You Don’t Know My Story!

Sociocultural Identifiers have an impact on all of us. Whether it is our age, education level, gender,
gender identity, race, sexual orientation or a long list of others, the impact of our identities impacts our everyday lives.

Current Independent School High School students will share their individual stories about their experiences navigating through the Independent School world. If you, your child, or student have ever been an “outsider” or different from the majority in any way, or “labeled” for any reason at all- you need to participate in this wonderful discussion. This Critical Conversation is for Pre K to 12 Administrators and Educators and guardians/parents of Middle and Upper School aged students. Students attending Agnes Irwin, Baldwin, Episcopal Academy, The Haverford School and Shipley will be leading the discussion.
